At 14, Ava August performed before an SOLD packed crowd of thirty thousand fans in the Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles in the midst of the start of a Los Angeles Kings professional hockey game. Ava August was recruited and booked to perform by the Los Angeles Dodgers and L.A. Galaxy Professional baseball and soccer teams, according to reports, but the epidemic of COVID-19 caused cancellations of the performances. Ava August, at the 15 years of age, was one of the most youthful performers as well as judges on American Idol Season 19. Ava August won the GOLDEN TICKER at the Audition Round.
